What would your life at KU look like without St. Lawrence?
I would not be the man I am today without St. Lawrence. St. Lawrence is the place I was brought into the Catholic Church 22 years ago and it is the place that has provided a constant community during my college years. The people I've met there have had an immeasurable impact on my life and I owe each of them a debt of gratitude.

How would you describe your experience of community at St. Lawrence?
At St. Lawrence, I've felt right at home. All of the staff and past graduating classes welcomed me with open arms and made me feel like I had a say in the goings-on. As my college career has gone on, I've been blessed with the opportunity to invite underclassmen and incoming freshmen into the same community that has given me so much.

How are you called to continue to build community after college?
As I transition to law school, I feel I am called to continue building community with those around me by opening my home and by getting people outdoors. These have been two avenues by which I have been able to grow friendships and connect different aspects of my life that I'm passionate about. While the main task will certainly be studying, I will be jumping as every opportunity to make my new corner of the world a home for myself and those around me.

Who has been one of your greatest guides at St. Lawrence? How did they guide you?
One of my greatest guides at St. Lawrence has been Cole Zimmerman. Our relationship started off with him discipling me, which quickly grew into a brotherhood. He has challenged me to grow as a man and as a man of God. As the oldest of three with no brothers by blood, Cole is the closest I've got in my life to a brother and I'm very thankful for the Center bringing our paths together.
